Luckily for those planning a vintage wedding,"vintage" style bridesmaids dresses are becoming easier to find because so many modern designers are loving the knee-length, a-line dress.

For example, take these Candy Anthony reproduction dresses. Decidely decade-specific, they are nonetheless sweet and modern because of their satin sashes.

But if you don't live in the UK, don't despair - there are other options. In fact, almost any knee-length, A-line dress can be made more "retro" by the addition of vintage or vintage-reproduction accessories.

Exhibit A:

(key accessories shown: flower hat pin and birdcage veil, floral brooch, lace bolero, satin sash, d'Orsay pumps, antique gold necklace, and (not pictured) petticoat)

This look is very vintage, but can be easily duplicated - especially with the huge selection of vintage accessories that Ebay has to offer. Other good places to look include flea markets, tag sales, and your grandmother's attic/basement/creepy storage area under the stairs. Notice the use of a bolero (cropped jacket) - it's a really cute retro look, and great for a bridesmaid (or bride) who loves a strapless neckline but feels uncomfortable about showing her shoulders.

However, if only a true vintage dress will do for your crew, you may proceed with caution to the following section (...but maybe you should dim your screens so your co-workers don't see)

******FETISH SECTION - RATED V-FOR VINTAGEOUS***********

The following delectable dresses are from the vintage seller Vintageous.
